| New questions, primarily around the focus of the new Aftermath. What rank do you want to play with?
1. Counts - Eastern Pendor is still in flames following the Noble Wars, the Orders have lost their grip on the region, Poinsbruk has been sacked, and Marleons pillaged. Having seen the heaviest fighting in the war, most of the nobility lie dead, leaving the road open for a new generation to move in, either having seized power during the fighting, or acting on ancient claims. This will be more about direct conflict between Nobles, it will be overt and militant. Ducal titles will be able to exert significant influence over others... but if they treat their vassals badly, then they could find their former allies usurping the title.
2. Dukes - The Noble Wars are over, though much of the country remains in flames. The Orders are a shadow of their former selves, and the Nobility are once more on the ascendancy. Many of the old guard lie dead on the battlefield, ushering in an opportunity for an ambitious generation of nobles. Further to this, King Mordred is missing, putting Price Valdemarr and Queen Gudrun in power except that legally neither may wield ultimate power in the state. Therefore a regent must be appointed, and the office remains open... This will contain combative elements mixed with a healthy amount of intrigue and diplomacy. The Regent, Marshal and Chancellor titles are up for grabs, each with significant advantages but also heavy duties. You may find the challenge is not in getting the title, but in keeping it.
A note; I will be trying to limit hosting as much as possible, therefore character to character interaction will be of paramount importance, and with few if any NPC characters. Bear this in mind for your choices. |

| How would we include the various cultures in the first option? Empire, Sarleon, and Ravenstern nobles could feasibly be included, but Fierdsvain or D'shar lords would be out of place it seems to me. _________________ Trierarch Seleucia of the Shadow Legion - Spoiler:

Snake Cultist- She is familiar with the secret signs and ways of the Snake Cult. Good Swordswoman Poor Rider- Her sea legs are ill-suited to horseback.
Stats: 6 WP (3 Shadow Legion, +3 Heavy armor) 2 SK Swords ( +1 Good trait, +1, +1 WP Keen weapon) 0 SK Javelins -1 SP (-1 Heavy Armor)

| It would be all about ambition in the Eastern scenario, remember.
So there will be a lot of lords looking for power crowding into the region. This is particularly notable as an opportunity for weak lords, no matter what their stripes. So those with little or low quality lands, little influence, etc.. _________________ Once second-in-command of the Knights of the Clarion Call. | Yeah its basically a noble free for all. Pendor is a unified state now, doesn't matter (so much) the cultural background of the noble. |

| Characters can fit in anywhere to some degree, but a D'shar noble is still a fish out of water (no steppe, foreign levy, etc) without some idea that eludes me (hence why I asked). But that answers my question. _________________ Trierarch Seleucia of the Shadow Legion - Spoiler:

| I voted for the Dukes because of my ancient desire to become the King on Aftermath...but the counts sound awesome as well.
choices choices
Edit: D'Shar and Jatu kinda mix, don't they? So they fit in a little with their cousins. _________________ - Characters:

| Jatu and D'Shar are entirely separate, and have no common heritage. |

But they look so similar Then perhaps Mordred allowed Kassim's idea to happen? Letting the D'Shar tribes raid outside D'Shar lands.. _________________ - Characters:
